Dennis Perlotto is the Vice President; Business Development and Operational Oversight for AIM Environmental Group. Mr. Perlotto provides a dual focus on both leading the AIM component of proposals in teamwork with AIM’s key partners for new organic waste management facilities and providing senior level oversight and support for all existing AIM-operated plants.
Mr. Perlotto brings over 28 years of progressively more responsible experience in a wide variety of operations, engineering, environmental, process upgrades and capital upgrade projects. He has the unique perspective of having been employed in the role of both owner and contractor, so he readily understands the requirements and challenges faced by all stakeholders in a project team. Mr. Perlotto has a proven track record or forming and leading teams that work together proactively to safely deliver projects on-time and within budget. His on-site construction experience gives him a practical approach to problem-solving. Mr. Perlotto has impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, and routinely represents his employers to regulators, governmental agencies, elected officials, affected landowners, neighbors, and customers, often in trying circumstances.
Mr. Perlotto holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Civil Engineering) from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Engineering degree (Civil Engineering – Collaborative Program in Environmental Engineering) from the University of Toronto. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada.
