“Greenhouse gas” is a term commonly used to describe gasses in Earth’s atmosphere, such as water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone. These gasses absorb and emit radiation within the thermal infrared range, a process that is the fundamental cause of the greenhouse effect.
AIM is at the forefront for commercializing Voluntary Emission Reduction Greenhouse Gas offset credits, using in-vessel composting for the treatment and processing of organic waste to generate these credits. Treating organic waste aerobically into a stabilized end product avoids the methane generated by traditional waste disposal methods such as landfill.
