AIM regards its employees and outsourced support providers as the most valuable assets in an organization. All employees and suppliers that form AIM Environmental Group are required to participate in management’s commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment through proactive occupational health and safety improvement.
To fulfill this commitment, everyone works together to provide and maintain safe and healthy work environments that meet or exceeds all legislated and industry standards. We apply the continuous improvement process to health and safety and strive to control or eliminate all reasonably foreseeable hazards that may result in accidents, personal injury/illnesses, fires, security losses or other property damage.
The corporation, management, employees, customers, guests, contractors, and subcontractors all share in the responsibility to meet or exceed all legislated and industry standards. We are all responsible for accident prevention, therefore we are dedicated to, and demonstrate behavior that supports a strong, proactive safety improvement process. We all lead by example, placing safety ahead of everything else we do.
Employees are expected to follow all safe work practices established by management. We all work and support our health and safety program to ensure that the necessary resources are made available to the program. We also consider the safety and health impacts in all processing and process design decisions.
AIM Environmental Group has successfully achieved COR™ Ontario Equivalency with existing operations in Ontario and will implement Provincial COR™ programs as opportunities elsewhere are realized.
By achieving COR™ Ontario Equivalency, benefits include but are not limited to:
- Protecting the Health and Safety of all workers at all times is the right thing to do. Effective development and maintenance of a Health and Safety management system is a proactive approach to eliminating workplace injuries and illnesses.
- We are able to demonstrate to potential partners that our Health and Safety management system has been developed, implemented, and evaluated on an annual basis through comprehensive internal and external audits.
