Dennis Perlotto is the Senior Director, Engineering and Technical Development, for AIM Environmental Group, where he provides a wide variety of engineering, project management and environmental services within AIM, both in supporting existing facilities and in procuring and developing new facilities. Dennis brings over 35 years of progressively more responsible experience to AIM Environmental Group.

Dennis has extensive experience directing and managing a wide range of projects including organics processing, odour management, wastewater, water, and storm water management projects, air and noise issues, facility expansions, process upgrades, equipment replacement, site remediation projects, waste and residuals management, site assessment programs, environmental emergency response, storage tank rationalization and upgrading projects, chemical and waste handling procedures; and supporting compliance audits and their associated corrective action programs.

Dennis has a proven track record of forming and leading teams that work together proactively to safely deliver projects on-time and within budget. He has the unique perspective of having been employed in the role of both owner and contractor, so he readily understands the requirements and challenges faced by all stakeholders in a project team. His on-site construction experience gives him a practical approach to problem-solving. Dennis has impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, and routinely represents his employers to regulators, governmental agencies, elected officials, affected landowners, neighbours, and customers.

Dennis holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Civil Engineering) from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Engineering degree (Civil Engineering – Collaborative Program in Environmental Engineering) from the University of Toronto. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada.
