Sean has been with AIM for over 17 years, beginning his career as the Maintenance Manager of the Hamilton Facility starting in early 2006 and assisted in its successful startup. Subsequently Sean transferred to the Guelph Facility in 2012 during its inauguration as Sean brought a wealth of experience in maintenance and operations, becoming the leader of all areas of operations in the facility.

Sean assumed the role of collaborating with the Chinook Resource Management Group in Calgary in 2016 for the integration of operational requirements as the facility was nearing commissioning.

Sean took on the challenge of reviewing and assisting in as build issues in its construction phase and took the lead for the commissioning of operations and lead for maintaining North America’s largest in-vessel organics processing facility. His leadership proved to be instrumental in delivering the key organics processing technology and operating model necessary to achieve all project objectives on time and on budget. Sean championed the development of integration of operating procedures that have laid the foundation for the successful performance execution in the Calgary Facilities operation and maintenance programs.

Due to family considerations and to enhance the operations in Hamilton, Sean transferred back to his original starting point as the Facility Manager at the City of Hamilton Composting Facility in 2018. His tenure in Hamilton has demonstrated his skill set in being able to take on any task and deliver it without compromise to the operating requirements.
